The Vision
Our local community matters to us.
Having fun together is a great way to bring people together.
Back in the days before COVID, we had a thriving community of people who wanted to start their own business in Porirua, and we helped them out by giving them space at Laughalots Porirua and marketing to help sell their story.
Now that we’re all starting a new sort of normal life in the post-COVID world, we thought it’s a good time to resurrect our Community Hub at both Laghalots Playlands in Porirua and Lower Hutt.
The Community Hub concept is our way of helping other people to start their own business or maybe just try out some ideas they think might be fun for people.
Maybe you are thinking of starting up a Nail Salon, or making soft toys for young kids.
Maybe you want to start up a new line of food or snacks for kids.
Maybe you like reading stories to children to give them a bit of down time.
Maybe you want to offer short-term care for a couple of hours while mums go off and do their own thing.
Whatever you want to do, we want to help you get started, so we’re offering you free space to set up shop for a few hours each week. We won’t charge you and you can set your own prices for your business. We’ll market your business through FB, Google and our website – especially if you want to make a regular thing of it.
If you’re interested in taking advantage of us (in the nicest possible way) please drop us an email to news@playland.nz or give us a shout on FB Messenger.
We look foreword to helping you get going and building our Communities together.
David and the Laughalots Crews.
